Off Topic - for moms
Hello all!
This is super off topic, but I need suggestions from Moms (and dads)!
My work has decided to throw a Baby Fair/Expo and I’m in charge! I have no children yet so this is a completely foreign world to me.
Basically we are looking to do an even mix of FUN + educational. Think Babies R Us, Little Red Wagon, but also having medical professionals, doulas, social services, etc. We also want to have a few breakout sessions where new/expecting moms can learn about breastfeeding, helping baby fall asleep, etc.
Any ideas for potential types of vendors? Or breakout session topics? Or any other suggestions?
Thanks so much!

Breakout session topics could be, I know this is weird but knowing the difference in babies poo, cradle cap solutions, how to clean the umbilical cord area well, teach about how babies will cluster feed when breastfed and also bottle fed, exercises to strengthen your pelvic muscles after baby before you can really workout, good foods to eat while breastfeeding to give baby all the nutrients and also foods that could make them gassy, how much of different medicines you can take while breastfeeding and what medicines you can't take, also how much alcohol you can have and how long to wait before you breastfeed after drinking and also that pumping after drinking is a safer choice, how to help ease the pain of breastfeeding at first, while pregnant you could have items that would be nice to have in your hospital bag and waiting at home for you to help you heal. That's about all I have lol hope this helps some2
