Lipo laser?

I've always held most of my fat around my stomach area, even when I was thin (137lbs) I still had a spare tyre. I was quite active, got plenty of exercise, trained with a personal trainer 2x a week on top of that...and still it wouldn't budge. It got smaller in proportion to the rest of me, but it was still there. I have NEVER had a toned stomach area!

I've heard about something called a lipo laser, and was wondering if anyone's had any experience with this? Apparently it's a "cold" laser and you have to go in for 3 sessions a week for 3 weeks (so 9 in total) and it zaps the subcutaneous fat cells. I had a course of Mesotherapy done a couple years ago and did find I'd lost quite a few inches, but was not sure if it was down to the treatment or down to the fact you have to cut out all refined CHO, dairy and even fruit (so it was lean protein, goats milk and cheese and veg only).

I went to speak to a therapist in a clinic I'd heard of through a friend (she hadn't tried it, just heard of it) and it seems the food plan is less restrictive than with the Meso, although she did suggest I cut down on my caffeine intake (I only drink green tea, so she suggested cutting back to 1 cup a day) and my dairy.

Anyone had good/bad/no results from this kind of treatment?

I had a friend that had some sort of laser lipo done. It wasn't done in several sessions, though. She went in, they heavily drugged her, and instead of doing the typical fat vacuum, they used the laser to melt the fat out. (To my understanding)

In the end she wasn't happy and had planned to have them redo it. We did go to the gym together some (not sure how much other exercise and dieting she did).

I know this isn't what you were asking, but, what about just keep working on doing things the "right" way? Keep cutting body fat and work on core exercises. You had tried the funny stuff before with cutting food groups out and it didn't work. Everyone's bodies holds on to things in different ways. I hold stuff in my hips/thighs/calves (and yes, I've always had what I called my kangaroo pouch on my lower tummy, too). I know I'll never have perfect legs, but I'm down with trying to have Madonna's arms. Maybe you have the awesome legs I'd be thrilled to have...show those off and don't torture yourself because you don't have a perfect tummy.

Why fight your body? Love what cha got! :)
