Make sure you get enough protein. Good luck in your new WOE.

What do you mean by only fruit and veg? Are you eating nuts and seeds and beans and lentils (and other similar foods, like peas and chickpeas)? Any grains or pseudograins?

I'm eating mostly plant-based and plan to go consistently 100% for Lent. I mainly share meals in the vegetables and fruit challenge (we aim for 10+ servings), but would be happy to do that here too.

As a longtime plant based eater, I would strongly concur with adding in plant based protein foods in addition to your fruits and veggies.

Nuts and seeds have protein but it's not balanced with their fats.

Grains, pseudograins, etc do as well, but are higher in carbs.

Tofu, seitan, tempeh... all good sources of protein.

Have you checked out any of the groups? You'll find lots of others there who might fit what you're looking for.

You need more than fruits and veggies...you need fats and proteins...they are necessary for proper nutrition.

    Hello and welcome :)
Be sure your protein is on point! I'm vegan ( for ethical reasons, not diet reasons) so I know first hand how tricky it can be to remember to get enough protein. Lucky for me, they make plenty plant based protein powders.

No need to apologize -- I thought you might be, but wanted to make sure.
