Hello, I am trying to get into shape and trying to lose weight. I would like some help with some exercise routines and ways to stay on track.
I would like to know some cardio, chest, arms, and full body workouts and routines. (Just FYI I do not have much exercise equipment at home besides a pull up bar.

Have you checked out Youtube for workouts? You don't need a lot of equipment to get a great workout. You can look into workout programs like Convict Conditioning and other body weight workouts. That combined with walking or running and you're set.1

Definitely YouTube. Jessica Smith TV channel is good for all levels no equipment needed and Body Fit by Amy. Also have Pop Sugar Fitness2

Hasfit I won't look at any others now the post a new workout routine monthly 5 day's on 2 days off each month is different there are 2 trainers one does the "hard" version and one shows you a "modified easier" version0

As the others have recommended, YouTube is the way to go. I would highly recommend Fitnessblender as they have some really great workouts on their channel and as a bonus they are some really great, genuine people. For a lot of their workouts you don't need to have any equipment. If you want more from them they also have a website and in addition to their free videos have some paid and personalised programmes if that's what you're looking for.3

I'm only doing bodyweight workouts at the moment, and they do get me in shape. I'm certainly not complaining.1

Your body will give you all the resistance you need to get strong and lean. Stick to the basics. Pushups, Pullups, Dips, Planks, Situps, Burpees, squats and lunges. Try doing holds for 1-2 seconds at the top and bottom of every workout to really make it challenging.1

PopSugar on Youtube has some fun workouts. I also like Jenny Ford step workouts, if you have a step. Resistance bands are also good if you are short on space.0

Darebee.com is also a good resource for at home bodyweight workouts. Lots of different workouts and programs from built for you to build you own.0

Another free workout resource that I found really helpful was HASFIT.com great videos and monthly calendar based workout plans for different levels of fitness with links to the videos.0

FitnessBlender is amazing. They have a youtube channel but you can also go to their website to customize the type of workout you want to do (no equipment, cardio, upper/lower body, time, calories) and it'll filter things out for you.
Any time I don't feel like or don't have enough time to venture out to the gym I through on one of those and get a pretty intense workout in.2 -

You might want to look around on craigslist and see if you can pick up a weight bench or some other exercise equipment on the cheap. You can find some pretty good deals on there sometimes.0

Walmart has some pretty cheap dumbells too, that serve their purpose.0

Hi I would try Youtube for sure, there are a lot of fitness people there who can break down what you can do depending on your goals and equipment and taking into account any injuries or restrictions you have. When you are starting a new routine it is so easy to hurt yourself with the wrong technique, at the gym people can point out to you when you are doing an exercise wrong, at home there is only you and you may not realize a problem until much later from doing it wrong over time. So do research on what you want gain muscle, lose fat in certain areas, increase strength to do a pull up, gain on your cardio ability etc. Sometimes experimenting with loud dance music and some funny 90's 2000's fitness videos when you have the house to yourself can get you in a the mood to get in shape in that environment relaxed to move around and get fit on your own motivation. When you are working out at home try to stay focused on the exercise time and keep heart rate up by turning phone to silent and doing all chores before you exercise, have water on hand and all the fitness equipment, bands, weights, stool etc out and ready so you can start and continue till your done.1

Ahh that’s a good advice, I shall start looking on YouTube and try some home workouts and maybe even try some diet. I’m probably gonna research online to see what may be good routines and how much running should be enough. Sorry for late reply, I am busy with school/work and forgot that to turn on notification for phone.0

Ooof, I forgot to turn on phone notifcation since school and work started. But I will look into fitness blender and some YouTube and google rountines. I am still getting used to all of this.0

I'm late to the game, but I would like to go on record that when I first started out, I would use body weight exercises I found on ondemand, from prime and YouTube. Then eventually I threw in some cans of pineapples (I tried using water bottles but I would drink them before I was done). Now I got some cheapo ones from 5below. All in all, I spent less than $10, and got to eat some pineapple.1

I got my workout out of a book. Over time, I've gone beyond the guidelines (the author doesn't use dumbbells beyond 12lb on most exercises; on some, they top out at 8 or 10. I'm using heavier as I feel up to it.) Main equipment are dumbbells, mat, ankle weights, medicine balls, and cardio step.0
