Hey everyone!! I’m super excited to finally feel and know I’m ready to be on this fitness journey... but it’s so hard getting rid of old habits... so quick bio, my goal is to tone up but still have muscle mass... maybe loose 8 lbs along the way, start doing cardio (which I hate) eat better and stop drinking all together ( I’m a social drinker ) nothing crazy ... well, hopefully I can meet some cool people to motivate, inspire and teach me a couple of things along the way !!! Ttyl

if you want to 'tone up' you will get better results by doing some resistance training as well as cardio1

If you hate cardio, try weights instead.
Even when I was younger and fit, I hated cardio, and I honestly still can't force myself to do it; but weights is 'easy', as it's engaging and satisfying - lifting something heavier every week is much more of an achievement than putting up with running for 5 more minutes.
That and adding muscle will help you "tone" - don't worry about getting bulky or big, you won't! Just lookup weights vs cardio on instagram for loads of examples of women who made the switch.
