Here is a challenge. When you have limited mobility, it is tough. The other part of the story is that I have a husband who has been giving 12 months to live and is fighting with chemo and I have to keep at least three meals on hand all the time so he can eat when he feels hungry. When you hear you are about to lose your best friend, anxiety can help you to eat for comfort and when the food is available, you do. I know I need to drop 50 lbs but food is my comfort right now. I hope you will send some encouragement my way because God knows I need it. I have limited walking ability but can walk short distances, running is not possible. Forget sit ups due to back problems. I do not enjoy many healthy foods, how do you get to like whole grains, kale, fish, avocados? I have allergies to oranges and shellfish. It sounds like excuses, but these are real problems for me. Thanks for reading.

    Hi Jenjay,
I just started and my goal is to lose weight to fit into a mother of the bride dress. I want to lose 15 lbs and fit into a size 8 dress, my daughter bought me.I can relate to u about the mobility,I have Fibromyalgia and I don’t have a lot of energy so it’s hard to burn calories.

I’m sorry about your husband.I know when I was at my worst my husband was bringing meals to me.So for u to do that with MS is hard.Just think about your goal, and how you wil feel when u look at the scale and you have lost so much.

It makes such a difference when you lose that weight with how you feel and how you can get around.Try not to eat with your emotions, I know it’s difficult, but u can take care of him better without those 50 lbs.

Good luck and keep up the good work!
    Don’t give up
