Lose of a child=no motivation

Feb. 7-14 is CHD awareness week. My only child passed away at 19 from a congenital heart defect. So posting on social media, letters out to government to get more funding. More kids die every year from a CHD than from ALL childhood cancers COMBINED! We need funding for research, too. Our kids matter, too! So hello beerssssssss.

Trimjuli,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. How hard it must be to get through the day, much less pull out some motivation.
I had a great niece who passed away from CHD in 2011. Each year on December 1 her mom has a "Celebrate Kate" day to raise awareness about CHD. She says the same thing you do.
