Active 10 app - and your steps

Hello all
Over here in the UK the government etc is promoting an app called Active 10 which I have started using (alongside a step counter).
It tells you at the end of the day how many minutes of your walking was 'brisk' - 3 miles an hour or more. It also tells you how often you keep this pace up for 10 mins or more (which is where cardiovascular benefits start to kick in). And it gives you total time walking.
I am finding it an interesting extra source of information (not as much of my walking is as brisk as I thought). And tho not a perfect app, the basic idea is good and well presented.
The basic uk promotion is to encourage people doing no brisk walking (or other exercise) at all to do 'just 10 mins' - rather than say fail at a 10k step challenge, which can have (according to the research) less health benefits if a) done slowly b) not managed (!).
But as someone who walks quite a bit I am finding it a helpful aid to remind me to try to increase my pace - for heart health.
You might like to try?!

I installed it six or so weeks ago. It's useful insight, although the app itself is a bit tough and ready.
Whilst I'm certainly not in the target market I quite like that it encourages slightly different thinking on non training days, particularly as I'm still recovering from illness.0 -
It certainly helped me make an everyday stroll with the dog much faster!0
