Get rid of cough while working out!

Anyone have any tricks to combat a cough while working out? I’m just getting over being sick, have been on antibiotics, but my gym crew doesn’t know that and I could only imagine what they’re thinking!

HELP!

    If you're still not recovered you need to rest up yet, your body needs time to recover. You can get back to workouts when you are completely better.

    In saying that honey and lemon in hot water really can soothe a cough. Also I'm a big believer in rubbing Vicks methol rub on my chest, the vapors help.

    No difference from trying to avoid a cough while not working out. There's really no good way to do it. Best bet is still cough drops, tea, or OTC expectorants, etc.

    If you're healthy and just have a residual annoying cough, then it just has to run it's course. Take it a bit easier on the cardio in the meantime (since the cough signifies that you probably still have some junk in your respiratory system). If working out in a public gym, practice good hygiene so as not to concern others...cough into your elbow, maybe leave the room if you feel a severe coughing jag coming on, etc.
