Hi All! I was hoping to get some ideas for high protein/low carb snacks to bring/keep at work. I keep a bag of pistachios and a jar of natural peanut butter, but I was looking for some more ideas. I'm having a hard time meeting my macros (especially protein) lately and I feel like I could use some refreshing, new ideas. Thanks in advance!

How high and low are we talking? Most people get the bulk of their protein through dinner. But you can snack on anything you like. If you like tuna and your colleagues don't mind the smell, bring the small cans.

Beef jerky, hummus and veggies, deli meat rolled up with cheese, cheese stick or laughing cow cheese wedge, cottage cheese, hard boiled egg, protein bar or shake

If you're really wanting high protein, I wouldn't rely on pistachios or peanut butter.. they're awesome, but by far more of a fat source than a protein source. To keep it easy you might just want to look into different protein bars to find one that matches the macros you're going for.

You beat me to it. Nuts sure are convenient, but provide much more fat than protein.

OP - I used to make a batch of hard boiled eggs on Sundays to have at work for snacks. These only have slightly more protein that fat, though, so the other suggestions were better, but I thought I'd throw it out there.

Along with the above suggestions, mini scrambled egg "quiches" made in muffin tins are easy to grab too, add meat & cheese if desired.

I've recently found Duke's sausage sticks for snacks too, all natural. Less sodium than jerky too. Very tasty.
