T25 Questions

Hello,
I've done T25 Alpha and Beta in the past and just started it again (currently on week 3 of Alpha) and am wondering a few things from those who have done it.

1. What do you do post T-25 Gamma? I've seen some people move to PiYo or low-intensity to give their body and break and to keep their metabolism guessing. Thoughts?

2. Does anyone lift while doing T25? I've been doing 4 days a week of T25 and 2 days of lifting. The Alpha round is so focused on the lower body that I want to balance it out by working shoulders, tris, back etc. Then in Beta, I'll switch to weighted squats, dead lifts, leg curls etc. BUT-my question is what do others find useful/effective?

My sister's wedding is in September so I'm going hard for that. Got to get my body back in bridesmaid shape haha! All feedback is appreciated!

I did T25 over the summer. I lifted twice a week through alpha and tried to lift around the strength training in beta, but was out of town some of the time and not lifting as often. I do full body compound weight lifting. I also worked out 7 days a week. I never did gamma though. I just went back to my normal cardio videos(a lot of kickboxing) and weight lifting. I also tried PiYo this fall because I lost too much weight between summer(all those double workout days including T25, walking, swimming)and October. I did enjoy PiYo. Almost any exercise is useful... but I think doing full body workouts are more effective than just doing body parts.

I lifted during alpha and a bit during beta. I tried a gamma workout and hated it. It just felt like too much and I didn't feel as 'worked out' as I did with other workouts.
