Calculating Wrong

I am trying to add a recipe for homemade guacamole and it says that the sodium level is over 3,000 and I know that's wrong because I only have a 1/2 tsp of sodium in the recipe and nothing else that would have that much sodium in it. Also I added the same recipe into another tracking app and it said a much lower number. What's wrong with it?

I double checked. It looks like it will only accept tablespoon of salt. Try making it 1/6 tablespoon of salt.0

are you using anything that comes from a can in your recipe? Canned stuff can jack up Na. Is the ingredient that you're trying to add in the recipe maker correct? Sometimes I have to scroll and keep scrolling to find the match (or add my own).

Try taking an individual look at the ingredients you're adding and try to find the culprit. Chances are that you may be using an entry for an ingredient that has the sodium content added wrong.0

There is a bad salt entry that has like 3000 - you neeed to find a better one0

Find different ingredient entries. Some are wrong.0
