When I got started I found it helpful to set smaller weight loss goals. I went with 10 lbs at a time and set my goal in MFP at that number. I started at around 210 and my first goal was to get below 200. Then I set my next goal to get below 190, etc. Once I reached a milestone, I told myself "I never want to see 200 again" and so on.
I found it less overwhelming than thinking about how I had 60 lbs to lose because I was really only working on 10 lbs at the time.0
