Get fitted at a running store.

like mentioned already, get fitted at a running store. no extra charge for fitting. they should show you if you have hot spots on bottom of foot, walk on treadmill to see how ankle moves during stride.
    good luck in training

Thirding get fitted at a running store but, specify walking.

There is s big difference in a walking shoe and a running shoe, a walking shoe does not need the wide heel strike area of a running shoe, it needs a rounded heel suitable for the rolling strike of walking.

Get your gait analyzed and a walking shoe/runner fit.

    Cheers, h.
