Hi Everyone,

I'm Rachel (5'11", CW: 268lbs, GW: 190lbs)... Looking for friends to get started! Id like to be friends with anyone that is super engaged on myfitnesspal. And in particular, if you are a tall lady (5'8" and up) of any age. What is your CW, GW, goals in your fitness journey, etc.

I have yo-yo dieted my entire life and am actually in a place where I feel that I have broken through that vicious cycle. I feel like I've found what all of those people find that lose the weight and keep it off! Please feel free to friend me if you can relate or are looking for motivational friends that will post insights, recipes, and photos.

    Hi! I'm 5'10, CW 189, SW 240, GW170
I use Lifesum for tracking, but I'm active here on the forum.
I lost 50lbs very quickly and easily in about 6 months, then had 6 month stagnation, lost that umpf, now got it back a month ago.

I think the closer to your goal you get, the harder it becomes, both mentally, cause the process is slow and by this point has taken a long time, and obviously because the closer your body is to it's natural shape and form, the harder it is to lose the fat.

I'm determined to get to maintenance this year.

Hey there! So I am active on this site but new to replying to folks. I saw your post and it seems as if we have the same goals. I am 6’1 and CW is 228 my GWbis 185-190. I recently got a nutritionist because I found I really needed help with my meals. I go to Orange Theory about 5-6 times per week but still having a hard time losing the weight. The nutritionist adjusted my food so that all my calories are eaten in the morning and hardly no carbs at night. So far so good. I started on Monday and I have energy and not hungry. I’ll see how it goes next week when I weigh myself. Good luck on your journey!

HI there! I added you! I'm 5'8, 135 lbs, 24% body fat. My fitness goal is to lower my body fat to 20% with keeping my weight around 135-140. I macro count with high protein diet, open diary. Right now my weakness is my foods I eat. I have two young children and I work full time so it's hard getting those types of foods which not my whole family enjoys. I do love getting to the gym 4x/week for about 2 hours each day. I would love friending anyone else with similar goals or fitness routines!

I'm 5'11 and maintaining between 170 - 175 pounds. I get down to 165 in the summer from the extra activity, but that weight is too low for me.

I lost 80 pounds in 2012 - early 2013 and I have kept it all off with no regain since then! I work hard everyday maintaining my weight. I still do things I did when I was losing such as I plan out my meals and workouts and I meal prep on Sundays (not the meal in the container thing, but I make protein bars, veggie burgers and freeze and boil eggs for a few days etc.)

Also, I do something active everyday. I'm always switching up my routine, but for now I'm loving resistance band/TRX/bodyweight workouts and Pilates. For cardio I do walk at home workouts, but I can't wait to get back to my regular outdoor power walks.

I didn't have a goal weight, but I focused on my body composition and losing fat and inches. I stopped losing weight when I was happy with my body. I was overweight most of my life so I had no clue what I would look at said weight, plus the scale drove me crazy so this approach was a better fit for me.

    Good luck!

Hi! I'm 5'8" SW-295, CW-255, GW-150. Right now I'm doing the Foundation Light workout program from darebee.com. I try to walk as much as I can 4-5 days a week.

I have a goal to lose another 20lbs in the next 12 weeks b/c I have a doctor appointment and he had told me at our last appointment that I need to lose weight. I've lost 20lbs since then, and want to lose 20 more. I'm very motivated and I'm active on MFP.
