I go through periods where i'm extremely motivated to eat healthy, and i feel so good and proud doing it. But then i have days where i just don't care and go way over my calorie limit by binging all day. I'm so bipolar with my diet

It’s discipline, not motivation. You can do this!2

You are not alone. If that helps any.2

I have found that you just have to find good healthy substitutions that both fill you and taste good. If I were to try to eat veggies all day, I would fail miserably and inevitably cheat. Finding healthy, filling foods that I actually enjoy has been key for me.
Not that there is anything wrong with veggies, but I can eat a salad, and then 15 minutes later be hungry. Now if I eat a BBQ boneless chicken breast and a baked potato, I can feel full for a few hours. Plus, I love BBQ food.5 -
just keep trying.. eventually it will be the magic moment and it clicks. when you give up. you fail for good.0

For me i always think of progress. What progress am i making everyday so by the time i sleep i feel satisfied. Plus i always remind myself of results of 6 to 8 months when i will have a different body.0

We need to find the balance and understand the meaning of context and the concept of time. Every day, we're making many many eating decisions. We have to use judgement, and in order to do that, we have to know what we're doing, and why. Learning about nutrition and psychology helps. Neutral and balanced information, and taking the emotion out of it, is essential. We need discipline to build and develop good habits, but also to work with our natural inclinations, not against them and rely on willpower.2 -
Are you taking progress pics bc I find they help me so much bc I am a visual person I don't see my progress daily but if I look at it week to week it's a big difference1
