I am soooooo excited about this site. I'm totally focused on a healthier way of life. I'm doing everything by the book and have no prob with the eating thing because eating has always been a dreaded task for me and simply "got in the way of my daily activities". So I relied mainly on chips and diet coke and fast food. I want to continue this but am scared that I'm too anxious and excited. Is this normal? Am I making sense?

It is great that you are excited about it. That helps with your motivation. Try not to be so anxious and obesessed because you have to take it slow, this is a lifestyle, not a crash diet that you will do for a few months and then go back to your old ways...there will be ups and downs and so what! That is part of life...don't let your anxiety of doing well get in the way of living...good luck to you and stay here for the support. :flowerforyou:0

I have been on MFP since Jan 7th & I'm still really excited and loving it. I hit 34lb last Mon & am looking for another 2 this coming Mon. Fri was the first something was said to me about the weight loss, boy did that give me a boost . My middle daughter is on weight watchers & she has lost over 50lb, but she had not been losing for a coulple of months until I started getting close now she's back at it, she said I was inspiring her.
My sister & brother-in-law started April 1st & they are also very excited and doing well.
I don't know how much you want to lose but my daughter & I have decided people really don't say anything until you hit around 40lb mark. That is just our opinion
I call it EXCITEMENT, I love it! Wishing you the very best :drinker:0
