For women afraid of weight training...

Options
I’m too late to respond to the young lady who was obsessing over her 24” waist but I wanted to share this anyway.
After my initial 95 lb loss the first 2 years, year 3 has had ups and downs and I’m currently up 5 lbs from my low 169 last summer.
I’ve been afraid to have my trainer do measurements since May but decided to suck it up and deal with the results while I get back on track to lose my now remaining 25 lbs.
So imagine my surprise when my waist had gone from 39” to 36 1/4” - 2 3/4”down!

That’s great. What’s your workout plan like?

Sounds like you did a bit of recomping and added some lean muscle. Nice work!

Only 1/2 lb muscle gain according to my last InBody scan although not sure how accurate those are.

For a woman 1/2 lbs is awsome.
Nice work in the measurements too.

    Cheers, h.

Actually I’m not doing any set program. I have an awesome trainer 1-2 times a week. He had me do different things each time always pushing me further even when I whine. I have also been running which always feels like I’m burning fat right off even though I know that’s not true.
I do want to start a true progressive lifting program soon!
