does anyone count other fluids like herbal tea or things like coconut water or vitaminwater (sugar free) towards their total water count for the day?

so you add those as 'cups' to your water tally. What about caffeinated liquids with a diuretic effect like coffee or black tea?

Not personally, no. As long as my pee is light, I'm good.

Yeah because it's still more, that you're taking within; than you'd be urinating out & I add mine, as milliliters because not everything, I drink equals exactly; 1 whole cup!

Ok cool, I tend to drink mostly water anyway so when I have extra like the drinks I mentioned I tend to wonder if I'm overdoing it more than anything - but yes, the clear pee test would be the gold standard

Foods that contain, a high amount of water count also; such as soup/pasta!
