Walking really burns that much?

I spent over six hours walking around photographing a museum today, and I wanted to find out how many calories I might have burned. I put it in as Walking, 2.0 mph, slow pace, and I only calculated for 5 hours because I didn't want to overestimate. I still got 737 calories, which seems incredibly high for a 130-lb person just strolling around all day. Is this figure believable, or should I look for a different calculation?

First off, its most likely going to overestimate regardless. Second, if you were walking around a museum taking photos, I'd say 2mph is probably too quick of a pace.0

I tend to walk at a 3.5 mph pace.... but I set the MFP calculator at 2mph to compensate for the overestimate.0

Do you think you actually walked 10 miles in the 5 hours?
If you did (which is is somewhat improbable) you may have expended that amount of gross calories (.63 x your body weight in lbs x distance in miles) but half of that would be calories that you would have expended if lying in bed, your net calories burned walking (additional calories expended as a direct result of the activity) are estimated using .30 x body weight in lbs x distance in miles

Thank you for the feedback, everyone! I found another - http://www.fitday.com/webfit/burned/calories_burned_Walking_less_than_2_0_mph_level_ground_strolling_household_walking_very_slow.html - and it estimated a burn of 59 calories per hour, which seems much more reasonable.0
