I personally wouldn't (granted this may depend on the instrument). I played trumpet for 8 years throughout school. 2/3 of the year was seated or standing playing (orchestra, jazz, pep). That other third is the only real workout I got thanks to 30 minutes daily marching practice every morning and 2 hour marching competitions on weekends (plus bonus of helping the littles learn during my free period).
But I would have counted it all as just part of my daily life burn (fitbits weren't a thing back then). It definitely didn't do anything to help me lose weight during school in the long run.1 -

If people can log general house cleaning as exercise... feel free..1

Depends - if you're lugging a contrabass saxophone around maybe. If it's a piccolo, probably not.1

I think it prolly depends on playing style, too. Some of those manic sweat-drenched rock'n'roll drummers, and hair band lead guitarists look like they're burning a calorie or two. Drummers and guitarists in cool-jazz ensembles, usually not so much.
Personally, I don't count banjo practice as exercise. I count it as character development.2 -
Do you play the drums like Dave Grohl? Yes7

OP...do you look like this playing your instrument?
If so, then I would go ahead and log that *kitten*...6 -

Nah. You’re exhaling air forcefully for wind and brass instruments but probably not burning many calories.2

I read a scholarly definition of NEAT once which said it included things that made life wonderful, including dancing. There are very few instruments, the playing of which is more intense than dancing, which will deserve an accounting in your exercise log.0

Can you sing while playing and do you break a sweat?2

I do! I play the double bass, which is quite strenuous. There are entries in the exercise database for various instruments, and I picked cello since it was closest, but I never put in the entire amount that I play. Say I practice for 2 hours, then I will log 1 hour of playing, just in case the calorie burn is off. I lost 20 pounds doing this, so it works for me.2

Unless you're marching on a hot field in a heavy uniform whilst playing your unspecified instrument the answer is no.2
