Anyone here just trying to be healthy weight for pregnancy?

Hi all,

I am just starting my 7th month of pregnancy and was quite active before but still overweight. So, my personal goal was simply to not gain more than 15-20lbs during my pregnancy (as approved by my physician). I was wondering if there are any other mommas out there on this site doing something similar and if so how is your progress thus far? Personally, I've gained about 9lbs so far in this pregnancy so I still have a little leeway but I am a little paranoid about the third trimester munchies I hear of :wink: .

Also, what are your calorie goals and what types of meals do you suggest? I'm thinking of going for 1500 calories because my old goal was 1200 and I figured I'm supposed to add 300 to it if pregnant.

    you should be eating at maintenance while pregnant, unless your doctor has ok-ed you intake to be so low?

    I’m in the same boat. Had ACL surgery right before getting pregnant (surgery in Dec., positive pregnancy test 4 weeks later
