For me, closely watching what I eat is far easier at home. We are photographers and headed out for a 5 day assignment without cooking facilities.
Looks like lots of pb&j along with apples, bananas and raw veggies ahead.

I was on the road this weekend but I choose smart when eating out. For breakfast McDonalds oatmeal fits the bill and pizza with veggie toppings for dinner. To me, it's not that complicated.

Hard boiled eggs keep well in a cooler and go well with a can of V8.

Nuts travel well, just be sure to portion them out, as they can add up quick.

Some veggies are good precooked and cooled, if you want to vary textures. Peppers and asparagus come to mind.

There are a lot of foods that travel well and can help you keep up with your dietary goals. You can find plenty of threads on this, but a few options are protein bars, jerky, nuts, dried fruit, and shelf-stable milk/nondairy milk (which you could mix with protein powder, or even chocolate milk mix). If you have a cooler, that could expand your options a lot more.
