I just connected my Fitbit app to my account but I have 2 devices on my app. One for me and one for my daughter’s Fitbit. How do I only sync mine?

I was trying to avoid that. She’s 11 but is my introvert that prefers a book to people. When she wanted a Fitbit to make her move more I thought it was a good idea. We are pretty strict with internet and what not. She doesn’t have a phone yet. So will both of them show up on my fitness pal

    ^This.

Having 2 devices on the same account merges the data. Even on the Fitbit display. Each time the devices sync steps, calorie burn, distance, floors, ect will be combined. So steps your daughter takes while you are sitting down will be included in the step count on the Fitbit you are wearing. Same goes for calories burned and all the other information it collects.

I have 2 Fitbits on my account. Flex 2 for swimming and Blaze for any other time. There is no way to separate the data if they are syncing to the same Fitbit account.

Your Fitbit account thinks you are using both devices. It doesn't know that another person has the second Fitbit. Fitbit is combining all the data it collects from both devices. Steps, calories burned... everything is combined. Because everything is combined there is no way to know how many steps you took and how many were your daughters. The steps your daughter takes will be increasing the calories burned beyond what you actually burned. This means the adjustment you would see on MFP if they sync wouldn't be right.

You can set up an account for her, and only allow her to sync via a computer under your supervision. Having both set up on one account will merge the data.
