How do I join challenges on MFP?

I'd like to earn trophies but it is my understanding that I need to join challenges in order to do that so could anyone please guide me on this please?

    The ones on the app or a group type challenge? There's a tab in the app to join the MFP challenges. If you just want to join a challenge group you comment in the thread.

    Yeah mine says no challenges available.
