I walk at a normal pace of 1 mph. MFP only has 2 MPH as a option. If I walk at 1 MPH for 60 minutes but log 30 into MFP at 2 MPH should that be a close guesstimate?

Does it really take you an hour to walk one mile? An average walking pace is about a mile every 20 to 25 minutes.1

Unless you walk very fast with significant effort, it doesn't really matter how fast you walk, distance matters way more here. So using MFP minimum value with half the time should be perfectly fine. It's an estimate afterall.4
