Hi all, Weigh in today very disappointing. I was 178.8- EXACTLY the same as last week!This is so crazy as I had a colonoscopy Monday and had to spent Sunday fasting...literally no solid food. I think it put my body into starvation mode - I sometimes feel that in a post apocolyptic world I would be the last one standing- happily surviving on one blade of grass a day! I am going to try not to let it get me down...and to keep in mind that I am 10lbs down and this is just a bump in the road. I will get to the gym today and get my fitbit working! One day at a time.1

How is everyone doing? I have zero motivation this week! I have been forcing myself to work out, but my eating has been horrible. I'm hoping if I can get the workout habit going, the eating habits will start to improve too.1

Yesterday was a hard one...went to a dinner party with tons of great food. Had a small slice of carrot cake- oh well. Today was better - back on track!

Hey all,
Very slow going and trying not to get discouraged. Since I had a colonoscopy two weeks ago I have been at a plateau You would think after a 24hr fast then the subsequent "cleanse" I would have lost! Instead I gained a half lb that week and my body seemed to go into starvation mode. I have been almost completely compliant with the program and its frustrating not to see big results.
Overall I am down 12 lbs. I am so falling short of my 1.5lbs per week goal. In the past (before menopause) I could follow a 1200 cal plan and reliably lose 1.5-2lbs a week!
Anyone have any ideas for breaking out of a plateau?1 -

Hello! I hope this challenge makes me more accountable and dedicated! I was losing weight steadily since November but the past month I’ve been plateauing hard. I’m still working out at least 5 days/week but the eating has been tough. My cravings have been through the roof and I haven’t been controlling them. I’ve gotten really lazy about tracking so I don’t really know how many calories I’ve consumed, I’m sure way over my limit. Anyway, I have a loooong way to go do I hope this helps me get back on track!
