Stir fry is so easy and versatile. Combine a protein, vegs and a starch. Add sauce.

Oil in pan. Chicken, pork or seafood (not fish!) cut in small pieces. Onion wedges. Baby corn, bean sprouts, bamboo shots, water chestnuts. Peppers/carrot cut into strips. Broccoli florets. Snap peas. Rice, rice noodles or soba noodles. Sriracha, soy sauce. Five minutes of solid heat.

Yeah it pays to use up the veggies you have on hand. Most of the time is in cutting the veggies in to similarly sized pieces (all ready at the same time).

You could pre-cut in the morning and stir fry in the evening. Super fast.

I use beef strips sautéed with a splash of Worcestershire sauce and a splash of soy sauce, when the beef is about 75% cooked I add a bag of frozen stir fry veggies. Cover and cook on medium until the veggies are hot. I add a little bit more soy sauce about halfway through cooking. Serve with rice and enjoy!

Any veg, protein, rice or other grain. The magic for me is in the sauce..
Liquid aminos (soy sauce), rice vinegar, and seasame oil. Sriacha at the end.

I call this my Ponzu Sauce (so original, isn't it):

    1 tsp ginger
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 tbsp light agave
    4 tbsp soy sauce
    2 tbsp ponzu sauce
1 tbsp rice vinegar or apple cider vinegar
    1 tsp corn starch

Whisk it together and pour it over those tasty stir fry veggies (I cheat and use the frozen stir fry bagged veggies and add in a drained can of water chestnuts and half a can of drained bean sprouts).

Oil, an onion, a pepper, a bag of shredded cabbage, some chicken. Add pepper, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, lemon or lime juice. A splash of maple syrup, if it fits your nutrition goals.

Same as above, with spaghetti squash, instead of cabbage. With this one, I am more likely to add an egg for extra protein.

A really quick, easy stir fry recipe is to use chunks of chicken, a bag of broccoli slaw, an onion and whatever sauce you like. You can also add red or green peppers. The broccoli slaw makes it so easy...and adds a great crunchy texture.
