Hi, I'm 52 (F)and have lost 19 pounds of the 25 lbs I want to lose...the fat that seems to want to stick around is the belly fat!! Any suggestions as to how to get rid of some of it? I go to the gym 3 days/week and yoga once /week...And I know that at 52 I am at that wonderful pre menopausal part of my lif but I don't want that to be a reason to have belly fat! I have adjusted my calorie intake after 15 lbs of loss so am now at 1470 calories for 1lbs/week weight loss..
thanks for any suggestions, food or excercise!

Unfortunately, you can't choose where to lose. I also would love for the last bit of belly fat to be gone (female 27).
However I'm pear shape in fat distribution and although there is a teeny amount of fat left on my rib cage, I don't have a flat stomach and have larger thighs and butt (the latter two I don't mind having).

If you can't lose anymore weight in general without going bony in some areas, I would suggest building up your ab muscles and trying to lean out over time.

If you can lose more weight than continue and still make sure you keep your core strong.
    Good luck

Welcome to the club. For many of us, it's the last to go. Just keep in a slight deficit and do some strength training. And be patient, very, very patient.
