Hi everyone, this has been my 1st day here. I used to do WW but did not like the new plan so I'm trying this for free!!! I have about 25 lbs to lose and like the ease of MFP. I need as much motivation and encouragement as I have to cook a high fat, high salt diet for a family member so it's soooo hard not to eat the delicious meals that they need to eat or five into the snack drawer that they need to gain weight it's definitely challenging!

The first covers accurate logging and some of the tools in MFP to help you make things easier. The second discusses caloric needs and setting goals. These two posts completely changed my MFP experience and helped me be much more successful, so I hope they do the same for you.
