Hey all, I'm new here, in December I stepped on a scale and felt like I hit my personal rock bottom I've never been an overly active person but I'd convinced myself I'd never let myself go too far, the scale reading 220 lbs was a brutal slap in the face for me. for the past couple months I've been more diligent I'm counting calories and glaring at the snacks that beckon me and walking more(I try) but it's starting to grind I've only recently discovered MFP(and it's awesome so far) and I think it'll be better if I can be in daily contact with the awesome wonderful community here. I haven''t looked at a picture of myself and thought "wow that's a decent picture" since 2011 and I'd really like to eventually think that again and just overall reach a point where I can truly be happy with my body and image. so those are my motivations:)
