    When you're in Houston, go to the Breakfast Klub for breakfast/brunch OR for late night post-bar eating. Yes, it's worth standing in the line. Get the chicken and waffles. You're welcome.

    And depending on the route you're taking between San Antonio and Houston, go a little out of your way to eat BBQ at Black's in Lockhart. Brisket - fat, not lean. Don't waste your time on side dishes. Don't bother with BBQ sauce.
