Day two was going great. Till taco night at home! Blew all my saved calories. Today extra work to do to redeem myself.

So you saved some calories and then ate them? Why is that a bad thing?
Even if you go over a bit, it's best not to overdo the penance, it can be counterproductive, if you exercise more or undereat for a couple of days you may just end up hungry and bingeing.2 -
It's not a sin you know. You don't need to be redeemed. This way of thinking about eating can cause problems with long term sustainability if you're not careful. Be kind to yourself and allow yourself to enjoy food without guilt. Just work on getting your calories in line with your goals over time.1
