Motivation and support needed

Where do I start. I need to lose weight desperately-actually five stone. Bit of a hard start due to no motivation - I’m going on holiday for a month in January and would love to be the new me but really finding it hard to start - any ideas?

    Stop looking for motivation. Just log your food and hit your calorie target.

    Why do you need to lose weight? Simply to feel/look better on holiday? What about the rest of the time?

    Ultimately, you're desire to change has to be greater than your desire not to. There's no trick to it, no secret that only the successful people know. Sometimes reminding myself of my goals and, more importantly, why I want it helps... but at the end of the day, either I want to change more than I want to eat cheese balls and watch netflix, or I don't. It's really that simple.
