My day has started off with a bang.

I made coffee this morning, I forgot to put the filter in the coffee maker.

Someone's trying to get me to choose how many people I'll kill. (See other thread)

You slept through the alarm, made it to work on time, but know the schedule, and are dreading the first 6 hours

So... what did you decide? Too early for this question?

My alarm didn't go off. So now I have that to worry about. I set it on my phone. I naturally woke up, so I was lucky but still....

    "You look tired"

This was the first thing someone said to me (before coffee) when I arrived at work today.
Yes, thank you for pointing that out. I haven't slept in 12 years. This is just how I look now.

Woke up before my alarm, feeling pretty good. Then I realized it was only 11:30PM. Five hours of sleep later and I did not feel as good about getting out of bed.

All the "reasons" you can give to leave work early just don't sound good enough and you settle into the realization that you're gonna have to endure the whole...freaking...day
....oh the dread....am I going to survive?
    (wow...drama much!!)

Stay strong! You've been doing so well. It's the principle of the thing.

If you're going to go with caffeine then coffee is a much better option. It's much healthier because it has antioxidants and other things. Plus you can control what you add to it, like milk and sugar.
