I have my Fitbit connected to MFP. When I start the day, It looks like this:
1500 Goal - 0 Food - 177 Exercise = 1323 Remaining

I am not sure how to interpret this. Does this mean that it’s expecting me to reach a 177 calorie goal in order to eat my 1500/cal per day? Otherwise my goal is 1323??

1500 is hardly enough for me to eat, but I am trying for 2lb per week...

FYI-
Start weight =246
Current weight= 206.4
Goal = 185

Maybe my calorie intake should be adjusted because I’ve stalled a little. I am super diligent about entering my food and I weigh almost everything.

Any obvious advice?

Thank you

    When you wake up and haven't moved much, MFP will read your Fitbit and estimate that you aren't going too meet your maintenance calories and will give you that negative adjustment to ensure you don't overeat. As you move more, your adjustment will decrease and should turn positive, which will give you the calories back and more.

    That said...I'm surprised you are receiving a negative adjustment since 1500 is the floor for men. Change your goal to a pound a week since you only have 21 left to lose and that will give you more. How long has it been since you lost?

    It’s been just over 2 weeks since I’ve lost. I actually gained 1 lb. but 206.4-ish has been here for 2 week +. If I change to 1lb a week, it will give me more calories, but I’d like to continue at a more aggressive pace because eating 1500/1600 cals per day is relatively easy for me to maintain.

    Btw, i am 5’8” Tall... “obese” according to the categories.. lol ... I dont feel obese.

    Thank you for the Fitbit e’splaination.

    Once you're up and about Fit bit will take the deficit away. I think it's roughly around 3000 steps.
