Weight loss with **no** cardio :)

Thought I'd log on here for the first time in a long time, and throw an update for those who care to read this, if it helps to inspire other women to take up free weights.
I fell off the MFP bandwagon, and decided to stop counting calories about 12 months ago.
This was mainly due to personal research into body fat and deciding I was going to stop using weight as my sole indicator of health and changed my exercise plan to just weight training (+martial arts training, which I've done for years).
Two days ago I tried on a dress that I had taken to the tailor to get taken in because it was too big around the trunk - this was back in Dec 2012 - and was quite tight after it was taken in.
I tried it on expecting it to not close, and was astounded to find that it not only closed, but could probably be taken in another few cm as it felt loose-ish.
Given that my weight has remained in the same +/- 1kg range since Dec, I didn't really think my gym / training routine had had much of an actual fat loss effect, especially as I had settled on just maintenance.
The gym in itself involves **no** cardio whatsoever - just super sets of upper limb and lower limb free weight exercises, which I've progressively upped as it became easier.
Did I mention I don't do any cardio, whatsoever?
[sorry no pictures - because its the net, and all : )]
