New to this - at least 2 stone to lose

I'm new to this site although have already got loads of motivation from browsing around the boards!!

After years of yo-yo dieting, I've decided that I've had enough and I'm aiming to lose at least 2 stone before a holiday to Florida/Vegas in May next year (want to be looking good in a bikini - i.e. get rid of the 'rolls' around my stomach!!).

I weight about 11st 7 at the moment and want to get to 9st 7 - the plan is to eat around 1000-1200 calories a day, plus a gym workout (burn around 300 cals) 3 times a week. Started a week ago and lost about 3lb in the first week which is promising!

Are there any others in a similar position that want to buddy up and we can support each other along the way!!?

Feeling very motivated at the moment..heres hoping I can keep it up for long enough to make some proper lifestyle changes!
