Hi all. I’ve been logging meals and workouts here for a few weeks and decided to branch out. I gained some lbs last year I couldn’t seem to shake so I started looking for new ideas. I landed on intermittent fasting and have been doing it for two weeks. It seems to be helping me reduce my overall calorie consumption, especially at night when 8:00 hits and I consider the kitchen closed!
Hope you are all enjoying your weekend.

Would you share a link for intermittent fasting? Want to try this, but don’t know anything about how to start.

I haven't written on another discussion until now so let me start doing this too! (I've been on a week) I'm learning my way around and for me I'm finding by just sharing and encouraging others is encouraging myself. I'm looking at ALL the crazy things I've done with my weight issues (started dieting at 8) and one is looking backwards - so I hope you'll just get EXCITED that you started something now again and that you found this too! What a blessing this site is. I'm assuming your fasting means you're just going without food either after a certain time like you notated, or you're choosing to fast perhaps every other day or whatever you've put in your mind (or I could be totally off) but as a minister I know about fasting but I only fast when I am in deep prayer to keep the lines of communication with Him clear because food IS a blockage with my walk with God as well (it's a drug) and I KNOW when I use anything that alters my emotions, I am NOT hearing from God - Anyway, hope that was fine to share - don't worry, I don't push Jesus (I just love Him) LOL - But I also wanted to say that 2 weeks is GREAT also - keep up the work and keep letting the world know! I just finished a week and lost a total of 4 lbs so for me it's about lowering calories! hugs :)
