Also, I remember you talked about losing belly fat in another thread. What are your stats? Do you have an idea of your current bodyfat %?

    I'm 5'11" and 185lbs. I think 23% body fat.

Just been doing cardio and light weights. Want to start eating more protein and more food in general whilst doing weights program.

At this bf% you may want to continue to cut following an established lifting program and get adequate protein, in order to maintain the muscle you have while losing fat. Another option is to eat at maintenance and follow the above advice for gaining a little muscle while losing a little fat (Recomp)

Stick with heavy compound lifts like squats, deadlifts and bench press. Try to increase the weight each week. For a good plan I’d start with maintenance and see how that goes for 2 weeks and adjust your macros after establishing a baseline. Measure your body fat and weight each week at the same time of day.

Looks like you probably lost a lot of muscle during your weight loss since you are a decent weight but a little high on bf due to only doing light exercise and probably not enough protein either. I would up your protein, start heavy lifting as soon as possible and continue to cut a bit more out. You should probably aim for 15% then start reverse dieting and try to recomp or bulk a bit after. You could also try to cut down to 12% then bulk but start higher protein intake and weight lifting now whatever you decide.
