Hi everyone,
Please can anyone help me get my head around this. Last year I lost two stone with Weightwatchers and did no exercise, I was on 26 points a day which I think is about 1200ish cals and had about 7 extra from the weekly allowance so had about 1400-1500 cals a day.
I have kept that weight off but need to lose another 1 1/2 - 2 stone. I have been doing Insanity for 3 weeks and following the eating plan, eating around 1300-1600 cal a day and have lost no weight. Don't get me wrong, I understand that I am increasing muscle mass and I feel so much better but I suppose because I am still overweight I am surprised I haven't even lost half a pound in three weeks!
I haven't lost any inches either! However I don't think I measured myself properly to begin with as I did the whole pull it tighter and squeeze so it says less!!

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you are probably not gaining muscle,. That's almost impossible to do while eating at a deficit. My guess is you are retaining water/glycogen from the exercise. Give it another couple of weeks.0

That's fine, I don't have a clue about any of this but I don't think I really want to gain muscle but more define? I am not put off by not losing weight as my fitness is improving and I plan to carry this on after Insanity.0
