They are still being sold and marketed like crazy, it takes awhile for people to catch up with the current research, if ever they do. Also, the supplement companies have a lot of stock and investment so they aren't going away anytime soon!3 -

Let's not forget, not everyone reads research either. Many newbies who start lifting will still get sold on BCAA's unfortunately. So they won't disappear anytime soon. At my gym, they have all kinds of adds for people to buy BCAA's with bs marketing campaign...unfortunately it works, because people do buy them.2 -

BCAAs are available in eggs. If you eat eggs every day you get your BCAAs. Also, I eat whole eggs not just the whites because both together work synergistically.
I like eggs because they are a *cheap* sources of a complete food because there is no processing other than what chickens eat, how they live, and how the eggs are handled afterward on their way to market.
I eat organic, farm raised eggs and eat other "clean" whole foods in moderation.
Save your money and find a way to incorporate whole eggs into your diet.

Yup, agreed. The rationale for eating a varied and balanced diet. My point being, while I love eggs, they are not some magic BCAA thing. For sure animal protein are BCAA storehouse in general.1 -

BCAA'S are garbage, get them with food or at a minimum take protein powder if you need help with your protein intake.3
