New Support Buddies :)

Hello everyone! My name is Amanda. I have been on my new healthy lifestyle regime for a little over a month now and have lost 18.6 pounds so far. My goal isn't so much pound related though. I just want to feel healthy and be a positive role model for my kids when it comes to food choices. I have a long ways to go and would love if I could have some support buddies on here! I am more than willing to offer the same support back! We can do this! :)

    I will gladly volunteer to be part of your (and anyone else who would like) support system. I think that the more people we have cheering us on, the more accountable we are, and the more likely we are to succeed.

    About me:

    I have been on MFP since 2014, serious about weight loss since July 2017, and I'm down to 195 lbs from over 230, although my weight was higher than that prior to joining MFP. I exercise regularly, attempt to eat cleanly, slip up and get fast food from time to time, and believe that the only failure is quitting.

    I also accept any and all friend requests. I quite enjoy friends.

    Thank you so much! I also agree that the more people we have cheering us on, the more accountable we are. I don't have many friends that help cheer me on. I have my family that, of course, are my number one cheerleaders, but sometimes you need an outside perspective on if what you are doing actually matters and counts, if that makes sense.

    You are doing an AMAZING JOB by the way! I cannot wait to get to the under 200 mark! That is one of my first major goals! I try to exercise daily, but of course, sometimes miss them. I do however ALWAYS meal plan. I work in an office setting so you don't get much exercise here. As long as I bring my breakfasts and lunch everyday though, I know I will start to feel a difference.
