Quick question.. I think I have stained my groin... I have no idea if I have or not but I'm guessing I have due to pain in the left inner thigh groin area and lower abs (certain movements).. I'm booked in to see physio but that's not till Friday and I'm an impatient person and can't be arsed to wait that long while my groin/leg is throbbing... any tips on how to free some pain up till then... anything will help cheers

Rest is best. Groin pain could be a muscle strain, but it could also be a stress fracture or osteitis pubis. You don't want to make a bad situation worse.

Most likely on of the hip flexors. Try some specific stretching for that area. And rest until you see the physio.

I had/similar pain. 100% my hip flexor but be wary of stretching especially if it's a recent injury. It can worsen it.

Also, just because that's where you feel the pain doesn't mean their isn't a deeper issue. For me, I found out it was due to very tight glutes that were practically pinching my hip flexors with my femurs.
