Problematic Mindset

I have always been a heavy kid growing up, and my family definitely did not let me forget. Now that I am working on my fitness journey, I still have this awful nitpicking mindset. I've lost 15 pounds so far which I should be happy for but whenever I look in the mirror and see that fat around my thigh or stomach or step on the scale and the number goes up, it ruins my whole day. I know weight loss is gradual and there's fluctuations but I just can't seem to get out of the mindset that I'm not doing it right or I'm still fat. Does anyone experience this? How do you deal with that nagging voice? I just hate that I get so down when I should be celebrating how far I've come. It's like it's never enough for me because I even have other people telling me they've noticed my weight loss and I still have that mindset.

I'm not sure how to help. I struggle with the same. All I can offer is this: You're not alone.

I've felt this way, the thinner you'll be, the more you'll like what you see. Congrats on the weightloss.
