Food makes me crazy. Seriously. It’s 10:58 am here.. I usually eat lunch at 11am. I’ve been watching the clock for 10 minutes. But if I actually think about it.. I don’t feel hungry. Is that crazy? Of course there are other days I’m so busy that I don’t have time to eat till 2pm. But days like today.. slow days... drive me nuts.

No, it's not crazy. Food is always available, it surrounds us, reminds us constantly of its existence. We respond to that, often and liberally, so we are well fed (overfed). We don't just eat for nourishment, but also for pleasure and comfort and as social glue.

Yes its true.....and if you think you can't have it you want it more than ever!.....We have to be clever & fool our bodies & minds....try drinking water or if you feel you need to nibble try almonds, I weigh 1 oz in a small container & I know they are for me if I need them. There are lots of ways round it, like you say...keep busy!! Good luck

Evening is a killer for me. I'm usually out of available calories and looking for a snack... I reach for water & that helps... :)

Thank you all. I’m much weaker than you all I guess. Lol. If I pack ANYTHING for just incase.... I eat it.. hungry or not. I’ll keep doing my best. But I appreciate all the ideas and support.

I'm not stronger than you. I too eat what's available when I'm stressed, and boredom is stress. Don't pack more food than you need. Your food diary tells you how much you need. You can log your whole day in advance (prelog).
