WATER FASTING????

HELLO ALL,
SO I WANT TO DO A WATER FAST STARTING TOMORROW SINCE IT'S THE FIRST DAY OF THE MONTH. ANY THOUGHTS? HAS ANYONE ELSE TRIED IT? HOW LONG?
I PLAN TO DO IT FOR 7 DAYS.

    I've done it for religious reasons for 3 days...it's miserable. I don't see any point at all in doing this for 7 days. If you do, make sure you're really *kitten* sedentary.

    ETA: your cortisol levels will go through the roof so if you think you're helping in regards to weight (fat) loss, you're really not. Most of what you will lose on the scale is water and no waste in your system.

    Why not just eat in a deficit if you want to lose weight?

    Please stop yelling at me... I'm scared!

    Why would you do this? What do you intend to accomplish?

    No food for 7 days, most of what you lose will be due to no food in your system (not fat loss) and eating nothing over that time, a good % of that loss would also come from lean muscle. One day maybe, but I don't wee why one would even do that.
