I thought it might be fun to share what we all looked like when we were little ones. :)

You were cute but I'm thinking that this thread may be a bad idea because to be honest, not all babies are cute.

I meeeeeeean... "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all?" :D

    (And thanks!)

I would suggest a MFP private group for this as it's not recorded and indexed by google.

If you want to know what I'm talking about google your user name.

I don't trust the internet remotely enough for this.

Solution: Needs a more common username.

Well, my point is, regardless of the name, everything in viewable through Google Image. Also this website is wide open and you don't have to be a member to see everything anyone says here. Sometime I think people forget this is a website and not an app first so everything is on Google.

And folks who use current photos of themselves as profile photos? Could that be risky as well?

Cee — what do you recommend for Facebook facial recognition privacy settings?

Apparently I was trying to lift info off people by their handwriting. Probably the Show & Tell thread too. Oh no, I can see your bank account number in your bed of tulips!

I do think people should be careful about personal pics/family pics.

Settings > Face Recognition, then select yes or no at the question Do you want Facebook to be able to recognize you in photos and videos? And while Facebook says that it isn't opting everyone in, you may be surprised to find the feature already on.

Turn it off or don't use a real picture. Shady advertising agencies buy information on you and in turn sell it to anyone they want who wants it.

Not true at all. It's people living right that should be worried the most, in theory. Their the ones with the best credit and most online assets.

    like baby pictures?

Yes. It probably doesn't matter as much for one's own baby picture. However, I think it's important to inform people of what can happen with their choices online. It's what I believe based on years of study on the subject of Cyber Security. I'm no expert but I try to learn from the experts.
