Question on daily calories

Hello everyone. So currently, MFP gives me 1300 cals to eat daily for my weight loss goal. I don't really have too much of a problem with this number. However, I was wondering when it would be okay if I ever wanted to increase my cals to something like 1500/1600. I'm sticking to the 1300 cals because I want to avoid putting on any weight right now, but I'm wondering at what point it would be okay for me to increase my daily calories.
For reference, I am 5"2, 21, and 155lbs currently

What have you put as your goal? Is 1300 losing 1lb a week, maintenance?0

1300 is losing 1lb a week0 -
If 1300 is a pound a week, then 1550 would equate to half a pound a week. If you feel more comfortable eating more with a smaller loss, do it now. But remember you'll still need to update those calories about every ten pounds lost.1
