I just tried Kombucha for the first time last night, I love it... however it is expensive. Has anyone tried to make their own? Seems like a long process, do you think it is worth it? Any tips or recipes? Thank you.

I make my own in the "continuous brew" style. I thought it would be hard, but it's actually super easy and forgiving. Just make sure to use unchlorinated water for the best results.

It's really easy to make your own! You basically just add the ingredients and let it sit on your counter for a few weeks, and then bottle it once it tastes ready. The first batch takes the longest to make. It's so much cheaper to make your own. The only items you need to regularly buy to make it are tea bags, sugar, and anything you want to add to flavor it (ex. ginger, fruit, etc.). My favorite flavor is ginger.

This is the recipe I use: https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/81BF+RyXqaL.pdf.
